On the wings of some of the most legendary aircraft, piloted by the best of the best, the 13th annual California Capital Airshow returns to Mather Airport to thrill audiences of all ages on September 21, 22 and 23. Presented by Sacramento County in partnership with the City of Rancho Cordova, the show will feature the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and includes a one-of-a-kind Friday night show, known as Airshow After Dark, as well as two full days of heart-pounding aerial performances and aircraft displays.
This year the CCA lineup leaves nothing on the table. Whether you’re a thrill seeker, a history buff, a young person interested in STEM or an aviation enthusiast, the 2018 California Capital Airshow offers a vast mix of family-friendly entertainment amid an aviation-themed festival atmosphere.

- Climb through Jets, Cargo airplanes, warbirds and so much more!! Meet the pilots, learn about the airplane's history and explore what it feels like to sit in the cockpit! Don't forget to watch as these amazing aircraft take to the sky from 12-4pm Saturday & Sunday!!

- September 21-23, 2018 - Friday Night gates are open 5-10pm, with flying performances from 6-8pm. Saturday and Sunday gates are open 9a-5pm, with flying performances from 12-4pm
