Helping each girl find the leader within has been the focus of Girl Scouts for more than 100 years. In fact, more than half of the nation’s female business leaders, 80% of female elected officials and nearly every woman who has flown into space has been a Girl Scout.
Developing girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place is the mission of Girl Scouts, and now preschool girls have the opportunity to join the fun.
Girl Sprouts gives preschoolers a chance to embark on adventures previously reserved for girls ages 5-18. As a Girl Sprout, she will learn about honesty, sharing, being helpful, being kind to her friends and most importantly, she’ll have fun!
A first introduction to Girl Scouts, Girl Sprouts follows a parent-led guide for pre-kindergarteners that helps girls develop healthy relationships, build confidence and interact with the world around them.
Joining Girl Scouts is a great way for her to build confidence and discover her inner G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-Taker, Leader).
You can download a fun activity booklet that will guide her through five skill-building areas that will help prepare her for Kindergarten, Girl Scouts and life.
As a Girl Sprout, she will have the opportunity to earn her very first patch, and embark on a lifetime of learning and friendship. Once she enters kindergarten, she’s eligible to enroll as a member in Girl Scouts and will begin her journey as a Girl Scout Daisy. This program is ideal for girls starting kindergarten in the fall.
Through Girl Scouts, girls learn in a safe, all-girl environment, which helps them discover themselves and their values, try new things and take healthy risks, connect with others to create positive relationships and take action in their communities. Girl Scouts equips girls with the courage, confidence and character to discover they have the power to make their world a better place!
