Kids Skate Free

FREE Skating for Kids 12 & Under
Roller King Roseville and Sunrise Rollerland Citrus Heights are in the Program

The year is going by so fast. Before you know it, summer will be here and you'll be wondering what to do with the kids to keep them busy all summer. When the weather is great, you can send them outside, but when it gets to be too hot, and they are in the house all day, they can go stir crazy bouncing off the walls. That's why I love this program, KIDS SKATE FREE (like the bowling program). Skating is a great way to let them burn off all that energy they have.

Go to their website and sign the kids up. You'll get an email each week with your pass (or you can login to your Kids Skate Free account online to get your passes) and to let know when the free skate times are. These are the Skate Centers around here in the program

  • Roller King 889 Riverside Ave
  • Sunrise Rollerland 6001 Sunrise Vista Dr

Each have their own days/times set for the sessions the pass can be used at, but they both have 5 sessions currently on the list, and the only day between them that there isn't a free session available is on Wednesday. You do have to pay for skate rental, but if the kids have skates, it is totally free. We bought the adjustable sized skates, so the skate investment will last for a long time.

Who: Kids 12 and younger
When: All Year Long (yes that's right!)
How much: Free Skating, but there is a $4 sign up fee for each child. Skate Rental not included
